Scanning & Digitizing
Scanning & Digitizing
Scanning & digitizing printed photos and memorabilia after organizing often are grouped together. Perhaps you want to clear the clutter of the shoeboxes and totes, want more visibility and the ability to share what you have. We’ve also seen more natural disasters recently that make everyone pause and think of their physical collections and worst case scenarios of losing those collections..
Scanning and digitizing these items provides a secondary source of backup which is part of a 3-2-1 backup that is beneficial for all to incorporate. Using the ‘Contact for an initial consultation’ button, answer a few questions which help me tailor our call, and then I’ll email you a link to schedule our session.
During the call we will discuss goals, the current state of your collection, concerns, and challenges. We can discuss options to organize if that needs to be included as well as storage preferences (USB, external hard drive, cloud, etc.). I’ll be able to provide my pricing sheet so you know what to expect.
We won’t solve it all in the first call, but we’ll lay a solid foundation and take the first step from scattered to organized.
Here’s a brief overview of what to expect during the rest of the project:
Scanned photos at 600 DPI resolution with light photo editing, rotation correction, red eye removal, and cropping (if needed)
Scrapbook pages can be scanned fully or each picture captured individually
Physical photos, negatives, and memorabilia returned
Digital copies can be provided on USB, external hard drive, or cloud
Timing and cost will vary based on the size of the photo collection. We can discuss more detailed photo editing, restoration, and metadata options. Click the ‘Contact for an initial consultation’ button today and preserve your collection for future generations.
Clarity, organization, and visibility starts today.
